After Bollywood’s Bebo Kareena Kapoor and Amrita Arora were tested positive for Covid 19, It seems like the B-town has come under the grip of Coronavirus infection. Now, John Abraham along with his wife Priya Runchal has tested positive for the infection.
It looks like the third wave of the deadly Coronavirus has already hit the country hard and that the Hindi Film Industry- Bollywood is no exception. After Bollywood’s Bebo Kareena Kapoor Khan along with her friend Amrita Arora tested positive a month ago, now Bollywood actor John Abraham along with his wife Priya Runchal has also been found positive for Coronavirus. The same has been confirmed by the Satyameva Jayate actor. John also stated that the couple has mild symptoms and that they both are vaccinated.
Taking it to his official Instagram handle, the 49-year-old actor shared an official statement with his fans that read, “I came in contact 3 days ago with someone who I later learned had COVID. Priya and I have tested positive for COVID. We have been quarantined at home so haven’t been in contact with anyone else. We are both vaccinated and experience mild symptoms. Please stay well and healthy. Masks up.”
Earlier, Bollywood’s sensational dancer Nora Fatehi and actress Mrunal Thakur have also been tested Covid Positive, and both of them, just like Abraham, also shared the unfortunate news of them getting Covid positive with their fans through their social media handles.
The past two years have been a terrible time for the film industry and it seems things are back to it once again as due to the surge in Covid cases in India, SS Rajamouli’s action-packed RRR has also been postponed due to cinemas hall and theatres getting shut down, Further, the last month, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrita Arora, and Shanaya Kapoor, and Maheep Kapoor have also tested positive for the novel Coronavirus. Recently, famous film producer Ekta Kapoor also joined John as she was tested positive.
Talking about John Abraham, the actor has a lot of projects in his pipeline. He will next be seen in films like ‘Attack’, ‘Ek Villain Returns’ and much-awaited ‘Pathan’ co-starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
